2026 Rent Increase Notice:
The maximum allowable rent increase for 2026 is 2.3%.
Landlords may only raise rent if they:
- Give tenants at least 3 full months’ written notice,
- Limit increases to once every 12 months, and
- Stay within the yearly rent increase limit set by the Residential Tenancy Branch.
